I have a M.S. in school counseling but am having trouble finding a work. I have been doing substitute teaching work and found I really like it. I have heard that in certain areas you can teach with any B.S. degree from a university. I know this to be the case in Florida but how do I go about obtaining a job like this? I really would love to teach so any information you could provide would be great.

I don’t know about Florida, but in California you have to have a credential or be enrolled in a credentialing program to have your own classroom. Get in touch with the Department of Education in your area and they can answer your questions.

Google school districts in FL
Go to each district’s website and check out employment opportunities
